Car lands on its roof after a collision

RANDBURG – One person was injured after a collision was reported on the corners of Republic Road and Columbine Road in Randpark.


Netcare 911 responded to a collision that involved a light motor vehicle in Randpark on the corners of Republic Road and Columbine Avenue. The collision happened on Saturday (16 March) at 10.47am.

According to a statement released by the media liaison officer of Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst, reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the car rolling several times crashing through a wall where it came to rest on its roof.

“The patient, an adult male, was assessed on scene by an advanced life support paramedic and found to have sustained serious injuries,” read the statement.
The patient was treated at the scene before being transported by an ambulance to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
All local authorities were present at the scene.
