Acacia School holds blood drive

NORTHRIDING – Acacia School hosted a blood drive and learners and staff rolled up their sleeves.

The bright blue sky was the perfect weather for rolled up sleeves and a break from the usual school timetable on the morning of 9 April.

Acacia School in Northriding hosted a blood drive at their high school and the South African National Blood Service was there to facilitate the proceedings. Staff and learners were excited to give blood and a number of them said they were eager to find out their blood type through the exercise.
