The SPCA receives a vehicle donation from Isuzu Motors

RANDBURG – It is never too early or too late to donate something to the SPCA because tomorrow your pet might need their help and support.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) received donations from various community members, including Isuzu Motors, at an event that was hosted by AuctionPro.

The aim of the event was to raise awareness for the SPCA.

“Isuzu has been with the SPCA for months and we continue to honor the SPCA’s work because without them, who will help assist the animals that cannot speak for themselves?” said sales manager Riaan Van Wyk.

“The Isuzu company are proud to be part of the SPCA. We are not just a dealership, but also a family that looks after the community.

“Fun events like this get people involved and help them understand what the SPCA is all about.”

Sales consultant Rachell Smit added that sponsoring the society is something that the company really appreciates and will continue to do it in the long run.

Smit said, “Thirteen years ago, I adopted a dog from the Randburg SPCA and even today, they call me to check how the dog is doing and also often visit my home for a health check.”

“We never expected to get so many people to support our beloved SPCA,” said the vehicle manager for AuctionPro, Riley Wallace.

According to the Extreme Fighting Championship champion Danie Van Heerden, the SPCA deserves more than just donations; we should also share the same love that they have for animals.

“I contributed a lot of blankets for the animals because even animals, no matter cold or warm-blooded, also feel the cold,” he said.
