Residents ‘laugh themselves warm’
RANDPARK – Residents enjoyed the comedy of Forrest and local comedy favourites Dave Levinsohn, Richelieu Beaunoir and Ntosh Madlingozi.
Over 100 residents of Randpark and other guests braved the chilly temperatures on 28 June as they enjoyed ‘laughing themselves warm’ with the comedy of Chris Forrest and his comedian friends at the Randpark Golf Club.
Residents enjoyed the comedy of Forrest and local comedy favourites Dave Levinsohn, Richelieu Beaunoir and Ntosh Madlingozi.
“I thought it went well and we had an amazing turnout, we even sold a few more tickets than we expected to,” said Forrest.

Forrest commented that what he also enjoyed was that it was not only residents of the Randpark area that attended, but many guests from as far afield as Durban and Cape Town.
“There is always strong support from our residents and our resident’s association, and the event has changed quite a lot from the first one that we did about eight years ago,” added Forrest.
The event served part of a fundraiser for the Randpark Residents Association and their project to install security cameras in the area.

Forrest continued, “We currently have 70 cameras monitoring our area, and what we would like to do is get an additional 60 to 70 cameras installed to cover every corner of our neighbourhood to ensure that it is completely safe. The event tonight contributed quite a bit towards the project, and it is always a fun way to do so.”
