BREAKING NEWS: Car on fire in Randburg [Videos]
RANDBURG – No one was injured when a car burst into flames this morning at Randburg.
A car was seen engulfed by a fire at the central business district in Randburg today, 15 October early in the morning.
A spokesperson of the Emergency Management Services (EMS), Nana Radebe said that they received a call that a vehicle was burning in Randburg at 11.10am. The EMS vehicles arrived at 11.35.
“The car was completely burned and fortunately the driver of the of the car was able to escape unharmed,” said Radebe.
A security guard that saw the incident said that the owner of the car was not injured and left in a meter taxi, leaving his Mercedes A class in total flames.
Radebe also mentioned that the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage but the fire started from the front of the vehicle and escalated to the rest of the car.
