Covid-19: Friends don’t let friends panic buy
JOBURG – It's not all doom and gloom as South African celebs come together to entertain during the lockdown.
Amid the chaos and panic that many South Africans are experiencing right now, our celebrity friends have come to the party in sharing calm and entertaining us at the same time.
A video, cleverly commissioned by Pick ‘n Pay, features a host of South African celebs encouraging people to keep calm, and not to ‘panic buy’. The song, called Friends don’t let friends panic buy features, among others, Zolani Mahola, Lira, Madjozi, Arno Carstens, Karen Zoid, Francios van Coke, Loyiso Bala and Jack Parrow. It was written by Ard Mattews.
No one likes ‘that guy’. That’s why friends don’t let friends panic buy. Some of SA’s musos hit the studio to remind you to shop responsibly and with your community in mind. 🎵 pic.twitter.com/l78JSkFxt1
