One injured in a collision in Randburg

RANDBURG – Emer-G-Med transported the moderately injured patient to the nearest hospital for further care.

Emer-G-Med responded to a collision at the N1 South just before the Malibongwe off-ramp in Randburg on 19 August at around 7.20am.

Caitlin Kruger, a member of the Emer-G-Med team, confirmed that there were two vehicles involved. “The big truck was driving very slow in the slow lane. The Hyundai truck wanted to go over and pass but the big truck also started going over into the same lane. The Hyundai truck then hit the big truck from behind,” explained Kruger.

On arrival, paramedics treated and transported one patient with moderate injuries to a nearby facility for further care. “The Hyundai driver sustained moderate injuries.”

All local authorities were on the scene.
