City Power is aware of a power outage in Randburg. The power cut is not related to the Malanshof critical planned power outage scheduled for 16 October affecting various streets in Randburg.
The areas affected in the unplanned outage on 16 October are Bromhof, Boskruin, Randpark Ridge and surrounding areas. City Power said technicians are currently working of restoring power. No estimated time of restoration has been provided as yet.

Power to the areas affected by the planned power outage is expected to return by 4pm on 16 October. This outage is due to maintenance on the network which is part of City Power’s programme to provide better service.
