Christmas wishes from Curro Castle Aurora

Head of Curro Castle Aurora Angie Bezuidenhout wishes all her learners and their parents well over the festive season.

She writes:

At Curro Castle Aurora, the magic of Christmas can be felt and heard with the singing of songs and the sparkle of tinsel on the trees.

Being surrounded by young children reminds us that the simple idea of giving to others brings joy and happiness. This year Curro Castle Aurora joined the high school initiative in their Curro Christmas Cause.

Along with our generous parents, we managed to spoil many children at the Cradle of Hope Foundation with amazing gifts.

The children received new clothing and shoes, stationery and treats, toiletries and a special toy.

Being part of this initiative teaches our children the importance of giving without expecting in return. When observing the children creating Christmas decorations and praising their friends, you are filled with a sense of hope, knowing that each day brings with it new growth and opportunities.

This year brought many challenges, however, we are so fortunate at the Castle to be surrounded by dedicated and passionate teachers, optimistic children and supportive parents.

We are proud to report that at Curro Aurora no child was left behind and we can confidently say our families and staff deserve a good rest after accomplishing so much in a busy and challenging year.

We wish all a Merry Christmas, filled with love and joy.
