Acacia collects 2 000 Easter eggs

NORTH RIDING – Local school collects Easter eggs for underprivileged children.

Acacia Schools recently collected over 2 000 Easter eggs for underprivileged children.

One of the fundamental beliefs at Acacia is community service. It is because of this principle that children were encouraged to collect and bring marshmallow Easter eggs to school.

These eggs will be distributed by the AS level learners, in conjunction with non-profit organisation Impophomo Rushing Waters from Northpoint City Church, to children in Zandspruit so that they can have a very blessed Easter.

“It is a real honour being part of this amazing school, where giving is a core principle,” said principal Fiona Wood.
