#RandburgHero entries stream in, get yours in now
RANDBURG – The first month of our #RandburgHero campaign is coming to an end, but you still have time to nominate your community hero.
In the past two weeks, we have been inundated with entries for our Randburg Sun and Westpack Lifestyle Hero of the Month campaign.
We have learned so much about members of our community who are doing good work, not for any recognition, but purely out of kindness. We have been told about mothers, fire-fighters, care home workers, and charities – all with their own unique stories to tell. What is most special, is that most of these people do not even know that they have been nominated as community heroes.
These kind people simply carry on, day in and day out, working to make the lives of others a little bit brighter. Thank you to all of you who have already nominated your community hero – the light that you are shining on these deserving people is bright indeed.
If you still want to nominate someone, there is still time. We have made the process as easy as possible.
Information required includes the person’s name, contact details, and of course your reason for nominating them, as well as a photograph, if possible. These will all come through to our editor, who will select 1 winner per month.
The month’s #RandburgHero will receive a R1 000 voucher from our friends at Westpack Lifestyle, and will be featured in the Randburg Sun the following month.
