Kiara Fryer is a Grade 12 learner at Curro Aurora with a passion for swimming and singing.
Not only did she compete at the South African Senior National Swimming Championships held in Pretoria during April, but she also recently released her second commercial single, Lovin’ on a Summers Day, produced by Rayna Music.

We caught up with her and asked her a few questions about herself:
Q: Kiara, you have just released your second commercial solo. Where can the public get access to it?
A: You can access it on Apple Music, Spotify, and Joox.
Q: How does it feel to have released your second solo?
A: It is really exciting because I get to release music that is personal to me and I have the chance to get my name out there and I can sing!
Q: What is it like to be completing your matric year, competing competitively at swimming and building your music career all at the same time?
A: It is really stressful, and it is a lot, but I remember to take time for myself and to focus on things that matter. I am lucky enough to have supportive family and friends that help me along the way.
Q: If you could give other teenagers one bit of advice that has helped you, what would you say to them?
A: To always remain motivated and to do the things that you love.
