Honeydew police are appealing to the public for information on the whereabouts of two suspects after a popular motorbike store was broken into on 17 May.
Members of the Honeydew police’s Echo Squad and sector policing vehicles reacted after an alarm was triggered at the store on Aureola Street, North Riding.
“Two suspects managed to cut the boundary fence to gain access to the property, gaining entry into the building before attempting to flee with a motorised scooter,” said Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan.
Seeing the police arrive on the scene, the suspects fled leaving their stolen vehicle in an open field along Malibongwe Drive.
The police were able to recover the stolen scooter.
