Chamber to hold AGM
RANDPARK – Members of the Randburg Chamber of Commerce are invited to attend the annual general meeting.
The Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will hold an annual general meeting (AGM) at the Randpark Golf Club from 11:00 until 12:00 on November 30.
The chamber is a non-profit company registered in terms of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 as amended. The registration at the venue will start at 10:30.
Only active subscription-paying members in good standing as of November 26 will be entitled to speak at this meeting. According to the RCCI notice, all meeting participants may be required to provide proof of identification to the chairman of the meeting if required.
Members entitled to attend and speak at this meeting may appoint a proxy to attend if they are unable to attend in person. Members can request a proxy form from the chamber. The form must be lodged at the offices of the chamber no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting or it will not be recognised.
The purposed agenda for this AGM includes:
- To receive and note the annual draft financial statements of the chamber for the year ended July 31, 2020, together with the report from the accountant. The annual draft financial statements shall be available at the offices of the chamber for viewing after the AGM.
- To receive the annual report from the president.
- Meeting closed with refreshments and snacks served to the members attending.
