Radley Private School talks about diabetes

FERNDALE – Diabetic Grade 7 learner educates her fellow learners about the disorder on World Diabetes Day.


In light of World Diabetes Day, Radley Primary raised awareness about the disorder.

The school focused mainly on Type 1 diabetes and explained its seriousness.

The school’s entrepreneurs came to school dressed in blue to show their support and they listened to a presentation on the disorder.

Type 1 warrior and Grade 7 learner Monene Nkwana and all the entrepreneurs got to ask questions and see the cool gadgets that she uses to keep her glucose levels under control.

She also spoke about how she deals with the disorder.
