Honeydew police officers arrested 24 suspects in a week.
Spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan said from 06:00, April 18 until 06:00, April 22, the police enforced the law in the area and implemented operations that led to the arrests.
“[They were arrested] for crimes ranging from shoplifting, contempt of court, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of stolen property, robbery, reckless and negligent driving, theft, assault common and inconsiderate driving,” Muthan said.
“These arrests were made in and around the Honeydew policing area by members of the uniformed branch and echo unit.”
