Happy Yappers animal sanctuary comes to Old Parks

Happy Yappers visits Old Parktonian Sports Club with wagging tails, squeals of joy and a need for new homes.

Happy Yappers brought several dogs and puppies to Old Parktonion Sports Club’s first ever Doggy Day, and all were in need of a new home.

The animal sanctuary is a non-profit organisation based in Magaliesburg but operates throughout Joburg.

When they came to the sports club in Bordeaux, they put their dogs and puppies in pens for people to see and play with for the day.

Leashes were on hand for people to walk the dogs around the market.

Happy Yappers charges an adoption fee of R1 500 covering three five-in-one vaccines, tick and flea treatment, de-wormer and sterilisation at six months old.

They do have to do home and follow-up home checks following the approval of the adoption application by the intended owners.
