I am very happy and very relieved, there was a lot of stress during the holidays because I was not sure about my marks. All that went away when I saw my results.
I managed to get five distinctions and two Bs. This year I am looking forward to going to university and I’ve just been accepted to Wits for BSc in Biological Science and I am still waiting for other university correspondence. For now, I’m extremely happy and I am ready for school now.
Matric was very challenging and very stressful at times, especially, when it comes to managing my time and especially during the finals I would often find myself overwhelmed with all the stress. What got me through it was the fact that I’ve been consistently working throughout the year and managing my time wisely from the beginning of the year before everything went stressful.
The advice for the next class of matric is to start working from now, day one, do not waste your time because you are going to keep on putting it off and waiting and say you’ll start in June or before the prelims and by the time you get to June it is going to be too late. You are going to be stressed out and you won’t be able to achieve your goals. My advice is just to work consistently early.
