Performance shop in Cresta brings something different

Joanna Pawelczyk said the first show was definitely a success. Audiences absolutely loved it, and social media was abuzz with positive comments and support

The CIRK performance company shop in Cresta shopping complex hosted the first La Bella shows in celebration of femininity, exhibiting women’s beauty and power through exciting burlesque and aerial performances.

From passion and betrayal to drama and excitement, the show portrayed the wide range of emotions that form women’s lives. At its heart, this event is an invitation to rediscover bravery, to look within, and to uncover boundless inner strength.

According to Joanna Pawelczyk, Cirk’s director and co-owner, this show is designed to entertain audiences through thrilling acts loaded with sparkles, glitter, and sass, while simultaneously communicating an important message about self-love and empowerment.

She explained that the show was excellent and the reception by the audience was overwhelming and warm.

“A standing ovation said it all. The first weekend was very well attended for a show that is very new and very exclusive. This isn’t a family/kids show it’s a very different audience to the one from our previous shows, but attendance has been very good.”

In celebration of Women’s Month, the Cirk will host the ‘Share The Love – For Women, By Women’ campaign. They aim to brighten the lives of women in need.

“Through your support, we will sponsor women from selected charities, shelters, and homes, providing them with an opportunity to experience the wonder of ‘La Bella – I Am Woman Show’ on the special ‘La Rouge’ night on August 27.”

She added that residents should come to watch the shows because this is something that’s different from the norm.

“You can completely step out of your everyday world and delve into a world that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. It’s two hours out of your day-to-day that will transport you to another dimension,” added Pawelczyk.

La Bella runs until September 9 every Friday 19:00 Saturday 19:00 and limited Sundays 14:00. Afterwards the family show World’s Away will run until mid-October.
