Rand Park High’s athletes shine at inter-house

Learners Oluchi Ndubueze, Mohammed Butler, Chichi Nwaokorie and Shaun Siwela are the top winners of the day.

Rand Park High School recently hosted its inter-house athletics meeting and called on its learners to compete in the track events.

Chichi Nwaokorie receives the senior victrix ludorum trophy from principal, Alan Wilke.

Hosted annually, this unique event helps the athletes to secure a spot in the teams and to represent the school at inter-school athletics meetings. It is also a fun-filled occasion as the athletes and supporters compete for the House Spirit Trophy and the House Masters dress up according to a theme.

The staff relay race is always a highlight and didn’t disappoint, with the winning team of teachers and athletics coaches demonstrating seamless baton passing and an excellent sprint from the start of the race to the finish line.

Bishop House won the meeting and Martin House won the Spirit Trophy.
