The woman who was shot dead with her spouse on November 8, outside the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, was a key witness in a trial against four police officers charged with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The woman killed was the main complainant and they were both en route to the court.
The police have seized the cellphones and firearms of the four officers, and are also subjecting them to gunpowder residue testing as part of an investigation into the double murder.
A manhunt is still underway for the suspects who were driving a black Mercedes-Benz.
