Santa Claus entertains shoppers at Cresta Shopping Centre

Shoppers are treated with good activities including Santa Claus during the holidays at Cresta Shopping Centre.

Families of all ages took advantage of the opportunity to meet and take photos with Santa Claus, also known as Father Christmas, at the Cresta Shopping Centre.

Customers received excellent deals, with the option to snap pictures of themselves or their loved ones with a live Santa for as little as R50.

Speaking to the Randburg Sun Santa Attie van Vuuren explained that he has been doing the Santa job for five years now. “I have been working in different malls and this is my passion and I love the kids; it brings me joy to see them happy.”

He added that they have been an amazing response at the shopping centre with families and shoppers showing them support and bringing their children. “We still urge more families to come and take pictures with me and the elves. But where are very grateful for the support since we started.”

Photo with Santa started on December 11 and will run till December 24.

The shopping centre recently opened their Cresta Town for children during the holidays. ‘Cresta Town’ is a vibrant, pretend city crafted with care to spark imagination and joy in young visitors.

Cresta Town is transformed into a Christmas wonderland by incorporating a Gingerbread house/Candyland look and feel.
