“He has been my guide, my moral campus, my teacher, and my counsellor. When my parents went home to be with the Lord, he was there, when I struggled to conceive, he prayed for me, and when the world was unkind, he encouraged me.”

She added McCauley was a general of the kingdom, he walked the walk and talked the talk. “He led with grace, humility, and courage; he loved his church.”

Zelda penned an emotional letter to her late husband of 23 years. She said that their home felt empty without him.

“You took your last breath while I was praying for you, and I just thought you went to sleep; I already miss your loud laugh. You always had a positive outlook on life and even in difficult times you were a great giver, whether it was money or time you always gave, even if you didn’t have much you always said you’re a blessing to be a blessing.”

He celebrated McCauley as a teacher whose words knew no limits, crossing borders and reaching countless souls.
