WOSA started in 2013 with a mission to inspire women to make an impact on those around them in a deep and profound way. There were 700 applications to the awards, with 144 candidates being shortlisted. 134 women are nominated in different categories.

Sethoga explained that the accolades earned through WOSA are not just trophies and certificates; they are keys to unlocking unforeseen doors of opportunities.

“Excellence deserve formal recognition. I am grateful and humbled to be nominated. This encourages me to know that I empower others to succeed. WOSA is a life changing platform, created for women to transcend traditional boundaries. Its mission is to inspire women, like me, to build up personal brands.

Sethoga, who has been volunteering her services to individuals in need for over 15 years, said the nomination pushes her to formalise what she does.

The nominees are also going to be attending self-uplifting and empowerment workshops from the WOSA team.
