PinkDrive offers lifesaving screenings to communities
Mobile health units from PinkDrive NPO deliver vital breast cancer services to areas where access to healthcare is limited, empowering women through awareness and early detection.
PinkDrive continues to raise breast cancer awareness by offering free screening services and education across South Africa, especially in under-resourced communities.
“PinkDrive is a non-profit organisation,” says operations manager Nelius du Preez. “We receive no government funding and rely on donations, events, and corporate support.”

The group operates mobile health units that travel to rural and township areas, providing free clinical breast exams, health talks, and referrals for further checks. These services help women with limited access to healthcare detect problems early.
“Early detection saves lives,” says Du Preez. “Women should check their breasts monthly and speak to a doctor if they notice anything unusual. Those over 40 should go for regular mammograms.”
Beyond medical care, PinkDrive also offers emotional support. “We’re here to educate, advise, and walk the journey with anyone who needs help,” he says.
Du Preez urges the public to visit www.pinkdrive.org for more information. “The more support we get, the more women we can help,” he adds.
With its bright pink trucks and committed staff, PinkDrive continues to make a difference one screening at a time.
