School principal Gerda Buys explained that she feels proud and privileged to have been able to teach this class of matriculants. “I am thankful that God, once again, was with this group during the year, and he saw them through. It’s a happy day when the last exam is written.”

This is also Buys last year at the school after 30 years. “I’m going to retire, but I’m going to keep on teaching. It’s been a fantastic journey. It was a very small school when I started, and it has grown to be a big school.”
