Radley Private School Primary principal wishes residents’ happy holidays

Charne' De Gouveia, Principal, Radley Private School Primary, urged residents to travel safely and rest during the holidays

Charne’ De Gouveia, the principal of Radley Private School Primary, said 2025 has been a year of remarkable growth and heart for the school.

She explained that their greatest highlight was celebrating 10 years since Raizcorp took the reins, transforming the school into the entrepreneurial powerhouse it is today; a decade of shaping future leaders. “We reached near full capacity in our student group, which truly affirms the value our families place on our unique entrepreneurship model.”

The school successfully launched a cutting-edge Coding and Robotics Programme in partnership with Inspire Africa, a milestone significantly accelerated by a generous donation of 15 Cubot tablets from Dunns Mobile. Their learners also shone on Nedbank Pitch and Polish, confidently engaging with real-world entrepreneurs.

They had the privilege of hosting industry leaders such as Greg Walsh, CEO of G&G Productions, giving learners invaluable exposure to entrepreneurial victories and lessons learned.

“The installation of Lokfloor in our playground and our annual Family Fun Day also helped us nurture a vibrant, supportive environment,” said the principal.

“Our core success story is the visible growth mindset and confidence we see blossoming in our students every day. The structured implementation of our weekly Top Achiever recognition and our Academic Lunches has become a wonderful driver for healthy competition and a continuous love for improvement.”

These initiatives have directly contributed to impressive overall grade averages. “The capstone success for 2025 for the school was receiving a full Umalusi accreditation, formally recognising Radley as a centre of educational excellence and validating our innovative, entrepreneurship-focused approach.”

De Gouveia thanked the school’s valued stakeholders, parents, and community for being the heart and backbone of the Radley ‘village.’

“Our success is a direct result of this powerful, supportive ecosystem built on trust and mutual support; it is our most valuable asset. As you pause for the festive season, I wish you peace, laughter, and quality time with loved ones. Travel safely and know you are part of a school that is passionately shaping the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow. We eagerly look forward to leveraging this foundation for even greater success in 2026.”

She added that her Christmas wish is a deep investment in human capital. “I truly hope every dedicated member of the Radley family uses this festive season to genuinely recharge, reflect, and practice self-care.

Their tireless passion has been the engine of our success, and a restful break is the essential foundation for them to return in 2026, ready to continue inspiring and delivering excellence to our young entrepreneurs.”
