A man (45) was shot and killed in Windsor East on Sunday. A number of online reports indicate that the murder may have been drug related, but police have not yet confirmed this.
Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed that a case of murder has been registered for investigation and an investigation is underway.

“No one has been arrested yet. Public Order Police were called to the scene to restore public order following a shooting incident. Preliminary investigation showed that there was a production company filming in the area and that there were shots fired, allegedly by the production team’s security.”
She added that the said production team went to the police station when a group of people were starting to protest.
