Police nab duo with drugs in Strydompark
Two men, aged between 25 and 28, were arrested in Strydompark on August 18, after police found them in possession of drugs worth more than R11 000.
Two men are due to appear in court after they were arrested for possession of drugs in Strydompark on August 18.
According to a statement from Gauteng police emergency services, members of the Johannesburg flying squad were on patrol around Strydompark at around 14:25 when they stopped and searched two suspects at the corner of Stanley and Nyala streets.

The search of the first suspect turned up three packets of Cat, a street drug, with an estimated value of R4 000, along with a suspected stolen iPhone 15. The second suspect was found in possession of twenty-two packets of Cat, valued at around R7 400.
Both men, aged between 25 and 28, were arrested on charges of possession of drugs and suspected possession of stolen property. They were taken to Randburg SAPS, where they remain detained while investigations continue.

Police spokesperson Senior Personnel Officer Raymond Sambo confirmed the arrests in a statement, saying the suspects will appear in the nearest magistrate’s court in due course.
