Anticipate traffic delays in Randburg ahead of Pastor Ray McCauley’s funeral services

As the community prepares to pay their respects to the beloved Pastor Ray McCauley, traffic congestion is expected on Hans Schoeman and Rabie streets. Motorists are urged to plan their travel accordingly.

Following the passing of Pastor Ray McCauley, founder of the Rhema Bible Church, three separate remembrance services will be hosted at the church over the coming days.

A comfort service will take place on October 10 at 7 PM, followed by an honouring service on October 17 at 19:00, leading up to the funeral service on October 19 at 8 AM.

According to church officials, large crowds are anticipated, particularly on Hans Schoeman and Rabie streets in Bromhof, Randburg, causing potential traffic congestion during these events. It is advised that motorists avoid these routes or allow additional time for travel during the service days.

Pastor McCauley, who passed away peacefully at home on October 8 at the age of 75, has left a lasting impact on many lives through his pioneering efforts in the faith movement and social justice initiatives. As the community comes together to celebrate his life and contributions, attendees are encouraged to arrive early and exercise patience on the roads.

  • Comfort Service: October 10, 19:00
  • Honouring Service: October 17, 19:00
  • Funeral Service: October 19, 08:00 (Doors open at 07:00)
