The Ann Harding Cheshire Home has been left reeling after their specially adapted bus was hijacked on the N1 highway between the Malibongwe and William Nicol offramps on Wednesday morning (December 18).
The non-profit organisation, which provides care for residents with disabilities, relies heavily on the bus to transport its residents. Jackie Kyle, speaking on behalf of the Home, expressed her shock and frustration, describing the incident as “devastating.”
“This is the second time one of our buses has been hijacked the last time was in 2021,” said Kyle.
