Randburg Community Policing Forum wishes residents safe holidays
Randburg Community Policing Forum looks back at the year 2024 and wishes residents safe holidays
After encountering a few administrative problems, including budget cuts on local Randburg SAPS, Mzi Khumalo of the Randburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) stated that they overcame these by gathering funds to cover the shortage.
“We are officially in the second year of this term. We have planned and conquered many of the first administrative hurdles. We are also engaging the businesses in the community to actively lend support whether financially or through their services. We have opened communication channels and will from time to time knock on their doors for assistance.”

Khumalo wishes his team and the community of Randburg happy holidays. “I hope you rest, relax, and meditate over some of the great initiatives we can bring into effect as the CPF. I extend this to the whole Randburg community and wish them a crime-free festive season.”

He named Randburg police station Brigadier Michelle Jones as one of his community heroes because of the work and assistance she has offered to the CPF.
“She has played a crucial role in supporting our staff during induction, ensuring that the actions of the previous board continue into the present one. She helps put a lot of police work into context and shows how different institutions and stakeholders in this community and enforcement ecosystem are connected.”
