Hoërskool Randburg principal wishes community safe holidays

Looking back on 2024, Pieter Booysen, the Hoërskool Randburg principal, wishes the community a joyful festive season.

Pieter Booysen, principal at Hoërskool Randburg, wishes every household a blessed festive season.

He wrote… Hoërskool Randburg has a vision of everyone being a star. That implies that every individual learner, educator, and parent has some special talent or characteristic that distinguishes them from others in quite a unique way. The art of interacting with people is to find the best in everybody you meet, and focus on that unique talent in building relationships and the self-esteem of those you encounter.

By doing that, we all build towards a more value driven society. That, ultimately, should be a conscious goal of all South Africans. Within the scope of values, we can actively engage and build one South Africa for all, which promises hope and prosperity, if we do the hard work.

2024 is a year that our learners achieved great individual accolades on stage, on the sports fields, and in the classroom. We also believe that the Grade 12 Class of 2024 will be willing and able to commence their personal life journeys with passion and proper skills, which will see them contribute to society in a meaningful and positive way.

In the calm of the December holiday, we wish all moments of reflection that see us making 2025 a year of positive change. A safe, secure, and prosperous life for all starts with one random act of kindness. Imagine what we, as the community of Randburg, could do. I wish every household a blessed festive season.
