Nova Pioneer North Riding head of school Prathna Ramchunder looks back at the year and wishes the community safe holidays.

As 2024 draws to a close, the head of school at Nova Pioneer North Riding, Prathna Ramchunder reflected on the year and wishes the community a safe and well-rested festive season.

She writes:

As we are about to wrap up 2024, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the year we’ve had together. This year has been one of growth and learning. While we set ambitious goals at the beginning of the year, we are proud to have achieved many milestones, from academic successes to community-building initiatives. Of course, some goals remain works in progress, and they inspire us to continue striving for excellence in 2025.

Best Moments of 2024

Among the highlights were our family events such as our Family Fun Day and our Annual School Concert. Our learners also had an opportunity to go on excursions and camps this year. These moments remind us of the vibrant spirit and talent within our school community.

Challenges and Overcoming Them

Like any year, 2024 brought its challenges, from day-to-day experiences and change in leadership. We found ways to rise above and grow stronger through collaboration, resilience, and determination.
