ORS empowers hairstylists at Randburg Square masterclass
The ORS masterclass, at Magic Queen Salon, gave local hairstylists the chance to explore the brand’s product range and receive expert guidance from industry leaders.
Hairstylists from across Johannesburg gathered at the Magic Queen Salon in Randburg Square for a special ORS masterclass training event.
The event, hosted by the popular haircare brand ORS, offered in-depth training on the full range of ORS products, including relaxers, styling items, and hair care essentials. It was designed to equip beauty professionals with practical knowledge and skills.
Zama Cele, brand manager of ORS, welcomed attendees and gave a brief overview of the day’s programme. “This is an opportunity for you to engage,” she said. “Ask as many questions as you can.”

Kristen Price followed with a detailed explanation of the different ORS products, describing how each one works and when to use them. The audience listened closely, encouraged to ask questions throughout the session.
One of the highlights of the event was a live demonstration by Vukile Mthembu. He showed guests how to use ORS products correctly and explained the effects. Sphiwe Maube, a guest at the event, was chosen for the demonstration.
The morning ended with closing remarks by ORS South Africa business head Kavim Ragbir who thanked everyone for attending and encouraged stylists to continue learning and experimenting with new techniques.

Guests each received a hamper to take home, filled with ORS products to try out in their salons.
The Magic Queen Salon, which is home to more than 60 salon stations, proved to be the perfect venue for this engaging and hands-on experience.
