The child was discovered by locals who go there to collect cardboard boxes and bottles. When they arrived, they found the baby boy, who was only covered in a plastic bag with his legs exposed. Community councillor Lyborn Ndou said, “This has come as a shock to us as community members as well as residents of Extension 6. It is hard to believe that a human being did this to another human, but we trust and believe in our law enforcement to bring the perpetrator who did this to justice.”

This act has left community members outraged and disturbed by this inhumane deed. The South African Police Service has been contacted for further information. More details will be provided once they are received.
