Women from across Johannesburg and beyond are expected to gather for the Wonder Woman Conference 2025, taking place on October 4, from 11:00 to 16:00 at 303 Pretoria Avenue, Randburg.

The annual gathering, hosted by Oasis Christian Assembly, promises to be a transformative day designed to inspire, empower, and equip women to live boldly and without limits.

Open to women of all ages, professions, and backgrounds, the conference offers a supportive space where participants can gain spiritual guidance, practical tools, and renewed confidence. According to organisers, the event is more than just a meeting; it is a catalyst for lasting change.

“The theme Living Beyond Limits is a powerful call for women to see themselves as God sees them, not as society defines them,” said Pastor Bernadette Mutundoro, host of the conference.

This year’s keynote speaker is Akhona Qengqe, the first black female managing director of KFC Africa and founder of Women in Franchising Africa, an organisation that mentors women in business. Her journey, from humble beginnings to corporate leadership, reflects the values of the conference.

“Akhona’s story shows that faith can transform an ordinary life into an extraordinary one. She will provide life lessons and strategies that can help women overcome their own challenges,” Mutundoro added.

In addition to keynote addresses, the day will include panel discussions, interactive workshops, personal testimonies, and ministry sessions focused on healing and empowerment. Attendees can also look forward to praise and worship, networking opportunities, and dedicated moments to celebrate and capture the experience.

The Wonder Woman Conference has grown significantly over the years, moving from a small church initiative to an international movement with participants joining from Africa, the UK, the Americas, and Asia through live streaming.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the event became a source of hope for many, with women sharing testimonies of breakthroughs.
