Rand Park High reveals new head boy and girl

A special Tie Ceremony was held by the school to usher in its new leaders.

The outgoing Leaders were thanked for their contribution to the school.

The leaders and their parents then attended the symbolic Tie Ceremony where principal Alan Wilke and deputy principal Gaye Schütte, congratulated each leader on their appointment.

The educators who guide and mentor the leaders, Deon Schmidt and Niki Naudé, presented a leadership tie to each learner to symbolically acknowledge and induct them as leaders of the school.

The head leaders were appointed as follows:

Head boy: Thomas Anderssen
Head girl: Michaela Adolphe
Deputy heads: Robert Graham, Steven Robinson, Chizoba Nwaokorie and Aimee Young

The leadership tie symbolises leadership, respect and duty to the school and those who wear a tie as part of the school uniform are identified as leaders.

The new leaders assume their duties and responsibilities immediately for the remainder of the year and for the duration of next year.
