Orion College donates to women and children
The learners who delivered the items expressed an interest to do more donation drives for charities.
Orion College donated food, clothing, essentials and toys to The Cradle of Hope as part of its Spring Day activities.
The non-profit company is an independent social upliftment and community development organisation, with a core focus on assisting women and children who find themselves in desperate need.
The school based in Randpark Ridge had been collecting donations for this since Mandela Day, July 18.
The learners who accompanied the delivery of the donation, were inspired by the work done by The Cradle of Hope, and aim to do more donation drives for various charities in the future.
