Rand Park High matrics celebrate the end of exams

Matriculants make big plans for their future.

Excitement was in the air when matriculants at Rand Park High School finished their last exam.

They gathered in the parking lot outside the school and chatted about how it was finally over, their plans for the holiday, and of course, what their future has in store.

“I want to make South Africa better,” said Sia Mbatha, who will study human resources with a view to starting a business.

“We are a different generation in that we want to improve things in the country.”

Mwape Kafwimbi also wants to start his own business and create jobs for others.

Ayabonga Manana, meanwhile, wants to study psychology to meet the need for better mental health support.

Jayden Watkins has a passion for graphics and after taking a gap year, will look at studying that.

Alisha Pillay is still undecided about her next step but is not feeling any pressure to make a hasty decision.
