Grade 6 Sharonlea learner ‘will surely become an entomologist’

Grade 6 learner wins District Level Science Fair for research on ants and why they are important.

Grade 6 Sharonlea Primary School learner Sameer Johns won the District Level Science Fair under the life sciences category with his research project on ants and why they are important.

The exhibition that won first prize was all about ants.

He will now represent northern JHB at the next competition on September 9.

“Sameer has more knowledge on ants than any person I know,” said his proud teacher Alex Frost. “I believe he will surely become an entomologist.”
