Randburg Cricket Club is raising funds to replace equipment needed to maintain their turf pitches and practice areas.
A fundraising event will take place at the Barnyard Theatre in Cresta on 2 November at 8pm.
Tickets will cost R180 per person or large groups can book either an eight, 10 or 14-seater table starting from R1 440.
Those attending can bring their own picnic baskets, refreshments can be preordered, a cash bar will be available.
There will also be prizes up for grabs such as R5 000 and R3 000 Black Widow vouchers for first and second places respectively.
A booze hamper will be given to the third place winner and a cricket coaching session from the club’s coaches will be given to the fourth place winner. Junior or senior members who sell the most tickets for the fundraiser will be awarded one season free membership.
