After missing out last year, the 947 Ride Joburg Road event is back and a couple of streets in Randburg will be closed and/or affected by traffic on November 21.

The start and finish of the slightly longer 97km route will be at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec. But the City of Johannesburg-hosted race will go all the way north to Kyalami and do a loop back west of Sandton and passing Randburg.

Bram Fischer Drive will be closed from Homestead Avenue/Peter Place to Jan Smuts Avenue between 06:00 and 15:00 with no vehicle access.

Witkoppen Road will be closed from Main Road to Kingfisher Drive between 06:00 and 14:15. The only vehicle access here will be a contraflow west carriageway from Kingfisher Drive to Leslie Road.

Douglas Road will be closed from Leslie Avenue to Galloway Avenue/Crawford Drive between 06:00 and 14:00 with no vehicle access.

Some backed-up traffic should be expected on nearby roads.
