The dragon and tsetsi fly prepare for big fights

LINDEN – Local boxers prepare for fights against undefeated opponents.


Fighters from Alan Toweel Boxing Gym are gearing up for some more big nights in the ring.

The Linden outfit will support Wilhelm ‘The Dragon’ Nebe as he goes into a six-rounder against unbeaten Capetonian heavyweight Juan Roux on December 4.

This at Emperors Palace under the Golden Gloves banner. Roux has four wins and Nebe has five wins and one loss on points, so it will be an exciting contest.

Rofhiwa ‘Tsetsi Fly’ Nemushungwa will then challenge for the South African bantamweight title against unbeaten champion Ronald Malindi at the Orient Theater in East London.

Nemushungwa has 13 wins, seven losses and two draws, compared to Malindi’s 18 wins out of 18 fights.
