The Getty boasts a barrel of laughs.

NORTH RIDING – The Getty in North Riding was a barrel of laughs at their monthly comedy night.

The Getty Miami in North Riding was full of laughter on the evening of 2 May. Comedians from all walks of life came armed with their best jokes to bury the house knee deep in gut-wrenching chuckles.

The line-up comprised four comedians who did not disappoint with their different hues of humour as drinks flowed throughout the night.

Stop what you’re doing and ask yourself when was the last time you laughed a hearty laugh which began in the pit of your stomach, while sending your entire body in an explosion of joy? That was the main course which was served at the comedy night hosted by The Getty in North Riding. The comedians present were King Nqoba (who doubled as the emcee for the night), Darryl Williams, Troy Tesla, Loyiso Madinga and Kraai Du Toit.

The daquiri bar is family owned where daughter of owner Lisa Durrant organises the comedians through social media. The restaurant gives a platform to all forms of talent, where live bands singers and other performers have the opportunity to bask in 15 minutes of fame.
