Have you seen this dangerous criminal?

Police have made an urgent appeal to the public to be on the lookout for this dangerous suspect.

The Hawks are appealing to members of the public for information that may lead to the arrest of a dangerous suspect who escaped from the Palm Ridge High Court.

The suspect was to stand trial for violent and serious crimes committed in Randfontein and Krugersdorp.

These include murder, house robbery, business robbery, hijacking and attempted murder. He was arrested in August 2010.

The suspect is approximately 1,9m tall and well built.

He is considered aggressive and dangerous.

His last known address is in Kagiso.

It is believed that he is armed and members of the public are warned not to confront him but to contact the police when they see him.

Anyone who has information may contact the investigating officer, Warrant officer Peet Venter of the Hawks on 071603 8808 or 011 951 1939.

Information may also anonymously be forwarded to Crime Stop at 086 00 1011.

A case of escaping from police custory is also being investigated.

Police have also launched an internal investigation into the circumstances under which the suspect escaped.
