‘I’m worried. What is he eating and are his clothes clean? Is he still alive?’ — mother
A mother asks the community for help to find her nine-year-old son, Alex Fransisco Chiyo Sukude, after he went missing in Brandvlei on Sunday (1 February).
Maria Mantua Sukude said her son went missing at approximately 6pm that day in a park after he was playing with a friend. Chiyo was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, cream and brown pants with blue and green sneakers.
Maria said, “His friend told me a man got out of a taxi at the park and called my son on his name. He had dreadlocks and two front teeth missing. He said he was wearing a red T-shirt and jeans.”
Maria told the police about her son’s disappearance and said she is at her wits end, “I’m worried. What is he eating and are his clothes clean? Is he still alive?”
Captain Appel Ernst, Spokesperson for the Randfontein Police says, “The police are currently investigating a case of a missing person.”
