Westcol Campus’ cream of the crop rewarded
Top 10 students in each discipline in Westcol rewarded.
The Randfontein Westcol campus recently rewarded their top students.
The Westcol hall towards the back of the campus was used for the ceremony on Thursday (13 August). The hall was decked out with decoration for the top students in every discipline the college has to offer.
A panel of lecturers conducted the ceremony and various entertainment acts performed during the event.
One student’s poet, titled I was there, explained all her moments studying at Westcol including cramming for tests, standing in line and discovering she did not have the proper documentation, and trying her utmost to study but finding various things to do instead.
The concluding words explained all the ‘I was there’s,’ lead to ‘I am here’ at the top achiever awards. The awards were from N1 to N6 and some of the students that received awards were called up a second and even a third time.
Parents, spouses and children attended the ceremony and applauded their loved ones for being recognised as the cream of the crop of the college.
