It’s raining awards at the R’fontein Police
Members of the police as well as their external partners receive awards for doing a fine job.
The Randfontein Police management believes in giving credit where credit is due and subsequently rewarded all who support them with certificates.
The Imbizo took place last Thursday where members from the Randfontein Police, other stations and the media were rewarded with certificates of thanks for all their efforts in partnership with the station.
Among those who received awards, the Herald was a recipient and received an award for positive reporting on the Randfontein Police Station regarding police matters.
Other media recipients included Westside FM, Mogale FM and Kaya FM. In total, 25 certificates were given out to the men and women in blue as well as those behind the mic and camera.
