FJL Wells Primary crowned overall winner in Pretoria ceremony

A Randfontein primary school has taken top honours at an awards ceremony after receiving overwhelming support from its local community.

FJL Wells Primary School has been crowned the overall winner of the Kool 2B Colours of National Pride competition. The school was awarded the prize for the Gauteng West region.

The school received the top honour during a prize-giving ceremony held at the CT Hotel in Pretoria on August 22.

Simangele Zintle Nombila, the school’s Values in Education coordinator, thanked the learners and staff for their support and votes, as well as the parents and the wider Randfontein community for getting behind the school.

The achievement marks a proud moment for FJL Wells and the Randfontein community.
